In the 4 year degree course, 1st year consists of foundation course. It aims at providing the students an awareness of the different departments included in the field of fine arts
The foundation year of Applied Arts, Painting and Sculpture focuses on learning fundamentals of Visual Arts which includes- space, form, composition, line, colors, tints and shades, texture, dimension calligraphy, 3D design and design reproduction. The Film-Making foundation year focuses on fundamentals of cinema, camera work, scripting, audio-video, acting and graphic skill.
After clearing foundation year, students get opportunity to choose the field of their interest which makes them capable of acquiring Visual Arts Bachelor degree into the chosen field.
